 Hoosier Jars - $50
 

Item number 9533.  Here are four jars like our grandmothers kept in their Hoosier cabinets. The large one has "Coffee" on it in raised letters.  There are two smaller jars with shaker tops and one with a plain top.  All are in good condition.

  Old Bottles - $2 each

These bottles are from left to right:

1.  Item number a0015.  Ridenour-Baker Grocery Co., Kansas City, MO - raised letters.  Sold

2.  Item number a0016.  Ridenour-Baker Grocery Co., Kansas City, MO - raised letters.  Sold

3.  Item number a0017, Watkins Double Strength Imitation White Vanilla Flavor - "Watkins" on back in raised letters.

4.  Item number a0018.  Pure Maine Honey - Strawberry - Burt's Bees.

5.  Item number a0019.  Thomson and Taylors "It Foams" Concentrate for Making Root Beer - raised letters - raised picture of foaming glass of root beer.

6.  Item number a0020.  189 ml - in blue letters says "Grow in Health with Milk.  Develop in Wisdom with Milk."  Picture of 2 women, one with umbrella.  Made in England.                                Sold

7.  Item number a0021.  1 Pound Pure Honey - raised letters - raised picture of hive.  Sealed with a cork.

8.  Item number a0022.  Half pint cream bottle - unmarked.

Vinegar Cruets - $10 each

    

Item number 0025.  All of these vinegar cruets have cork stoppers.  They vary in size from about 4 inches to about 8 inches tall.  They are very cute but not fancy.  If you contact us about any of these, please make sure to state the size you are interested in.

  Glass Funnel - $6

Item number 0111.  Made of clear, heavy glass.  5 inches long with a top diameter of 3-1/4 inches.

  Cream & Sugar Set with Tray - $30

Item number 8804.  Diamond shaped cream and sugar containers on a tray.  Flower design.  Pressed glass.  I believe these were made by Sandwich, Indiana Glass Co. in the 1920's.  They were given as a premium when a purchase was made.  In perfect condition.

  Cream and Sugar Set - $20

Item number 0000.  Pressed glass cream and sugar set.  Made by Fostoria.  In perfect condition - no chips or cracks.

       Glass Stoppers

These are stoppers for apothecary jars.  They are extremely hard to find.  Most have been broken or thrown away.  Item numbers and prices are shown below.  If the item is cracked or chipped, it is marked as such:

1.  Item number 9943a.  1-5/8" outside diameter - frosted - cracked - $2.50.

2.  Item number 9943b.  1-3/4" outside diameter - frosted - $3.50.

3.  Item number 9943c.  1-3/4 outside diameter - frosted - have a quantity of 3 - $2.00 each.

4.  Item number 9943d.  2" outside diameter - frosted - have a quantity of 3 - $3.00 each.

5.  Item number 9943e.  2-3/8" outside diameter - frosted - $3.50.

6.  Item number 9943f.  3-7/16" outside diameter - clear - $4.00.

7.  Item number 9943g.  3-1/4" outside diameter - frosted - $4.00.

8.  Item number 9943h.  4" outside diameter - frosted - cracked - $3.00.

9.  Item number 9943i.  Stopper for bottle with 1" opening - have a quantity of 2 - $3.00 each.

  Reservoirs for Kerosene Heaters - $10 each

Item numbers 9530 and 9454.  These were filled with kerosene and put into cook stoves or heating stoves.

  Baby Bottles - $5 each

Item numbers 9936a and 9936b.  These are old fashioned baby bottles with the wide mouth.  The nipple covered the entire top of the bottle.  They are 8 oz. bottles and are graduated on the side with raised numbers and tick marks.

  Blue Hats - $5 and $4

1.  The hat on the left is item number 0109 and is $5.  It is blue ceramic and looks to me like it might have been intended to be a small planter or vase.  Really cute.  It is in good condition with no chips or cracks.

2.  The hat on the right is item number 0110 and is $4.  It is made of cobalt blue glass and was intended to be an ash tray.  It is in good condition with no chips or cracks.

  Pillsbury Doughboy Cookie Jar - $30

Item number 0155.  A really cute example of a Pillsbury Doughboy collectible.  It is in unused condition and in its original box.

  Decanter - $20

Item number 8701.  Trailing vine design.  Wheel cut.  Glass stopper.

  Christmas Plate - $15

Item number 8923.  Says "On the fourth day of Christmas my true love gave to me four colly birds" around the edge.  Has four birds in the middle.  On the outside edge are vines and birds.  Made by Imperial.  In perfect condition.

  Canning Jars - $4 each

Here are five examples of the types of canning jars we have (from left to right):

1.  Item number a0023.   Atlas strong shoulder mason - "3" on the bottom - zinc lid.

2.  Item number a0024.  Atlas E-Z Seal - bail top - 1 quart.

3.  Item number a0025.  Ball Ideal - Pat'd July 14, 1908 - "3" on the bottom - 1 quart

4.  Item number a0026.  Ball Perfect Mason - 1 quart - tin lid.

5.  Item number a0027.  Pine P Mason - 1 quart - zinc lid.

  Cream Bottles

This photo shows just part of the cream and milk bottles we have in our inventory.  A list follows:

1.  Round bottles - total quantity 4, $10 each.  One reads "1 REG. CAL. SEALED 52 L-C" around the bottom - half pint size.  One reads "4 REG. SEALED HALF PINT LIQ" around the bottom - half pint size.  Two read "REG. CAL SEALED 52 L-C. HALF PINT LIQUID" around the bottom - half pint size.

2.  Square bottles - total quantity 7 - $10 each.  One reads "REG 638-1 SEALED LC T ONE PINT LIQUID" around the bottom - pint size.  Five read "REG 652-1 SEALED LC 5 HALF PINT LIQUID" around the bottom - half pint size.  One reads "REG 639-1 SEALED LC 5 HALF PINT LIQUID" around the bottom - half pint size.

3.  There is one unusual one which is pictured second from the left - $10.  There is no marking on this one.

  Set of Three Crock Bowls - $25

Item 8914.  These bowls are in very good condition - no cracks or chips - and they are old.  They would look great in anyone's kitchen.

  One Gallon Crock - $15

Item number 8904.  This is a one gallon crock with no markings.  It is in good condition - no cracks or chips.  It is a great decorator item.

  One Gallon Crock - $15

Item number 8900a.  This is a one gallon crock with no markings.  It is in good condition - no cracks or chips.  It is another great decorator item.

  Five Gallon Crock Jug - $150

Item number 0229.  Here is an unusual crock.  It is plain in all respects except that it has a screw on lid.  This is the only one I've ever seen like this.  It is unmarked except for the "5" on the front.

  Silver Gravy Boat - $20

Item number 0211.  This gravy boat and tray was made by Poole Silver Co E. P. N. S. 1910.  The tray says "E. P. N. S. 1014 Heavy".  Very nice silver for little money.

     

Silver Trays - $10 each

From left:  Item number 0215.  This tray is unmarked.  Item number 0216.  This tray sits on 4 little feet.  It is marked "1213" and it is very heavy silver.  Item number 0213.  This tray is unmarked.  Item number 0214.  This tray is also unmarked but it has lovely vines engraved on the bottom inside.

  Silver Sauce Dish - $20

Item number 0212.  This sauce dish is permanently attached to its tray.  It is unmarked and is really beautiful.

  Silver Salt & Pepper Shakers - $20 pair

From the left:  Item number 0208.  This pair is marked "Sterling Duchin Creation Weighted".  Item number 0209 (Sold).  These are unmarked and not very heavy but very imposing looking.  Item number 0210.  This pair is marked "FTG sterling 1807".  There is a small bird emblem.  They are not very heavy.

  Meat Grinders - $12 each

From the left:

1.  Item number 0313.  Enterprise number 5 meat grinder with no cutting attachments.  Enterprise is one of the most sought-after names in kitchen appliance collectibles.

2.  Item number 0315.  No. 2 Universal Food Chopper.  Letters on the sides say "L. I. & C. New Britain Conn. U.S.A. Pat. Oct. 12, 1897, Apr. 18, 1898, Re. Sept 5, 1899."  It has one cutting attachment.

3.  Item number 0314.  Eclipse meat grinder patented Oct. 16, 1906 and Apr. 25, 1899.  It comes with one cutting attachment.

4.  Item number 0316.  No. 2 Universal Food Chopper.  Letters on the sides say "L. I. & C. New Britain Conn. U.S.A. Pat. Oct. 12, 1897, Apr. 18, 1898, Re. Sept 5, 1899."  It has one cutting attachment.

  Meat Grinders - $12 each

From the left:

1.  Item number 0334.  Keystone No. 10.  Made in USA C. & Co. Boyertown PA.  It has one cutting attachment.

2.  Item number 0317.  Wards Meat Grinder.  It has 4 cutting attachments and is probably the newest of the meat grinders.

3.  Item number 0333.  Enterprise number 12 meat chopper.  It has one cutting attachment.

  Cookie Jug - $10

Item number 0327.  This jug is actually a cookie jar.  This would make a really cute addition to any kitchen.  It is made by Monmouth of the U.S.A. and has a maple leaf inscribed on the bottom.  The entire brown part lifts off to expose the cookies.

  Crystal Lamp Prisms - $1.25 each

Item number 0335.  These are getting harder to find every day.  When you can find them, they vary in price from $1.29 to $4.99 each.  These are old and in good condition.  I have several of each of the varieties shown.  Simply state "pointed" or "square" bottom when ordering or inquiring.

  Juicer - $15.00

Item number 0329.  This is an old fruit juicer.  It is in very good condition - no chips or cracks.  How about a nice glass of juice for breakfast?

    Blue Glass Pitcher - $5 

Item number 05026.  This pitcher may be old and it may not.  I really don't know anything about it except it is blue and it is in very good condition.

    Miscellaneous Glassware - $10

Item number 07049.  This group of glassware includes one Pyrex mixing bowl, an Anchor Hocking 1.5 quart mixing bowl and matching 2 cup measuring cup (both with geese on them), a Fire King 2 cup measuring cup, a Pyrex one cup measuring cup and a syrup pitcher.  All of these items are in good condition.

  Knives - $20

Item number 07050.  This is a group of five knives.  There are four matching Carvel Hall knives with stainless steel blades and melamine handles.  It carries a lifetime warranty.  The fifth knife is made by Vernon Contempo and is a meat carving knife.  It also carried an unconditional lifetime warranty.

    Meat Grinders - $20 each   

Item numbers 08002 (Left) and 08003 (Right) (Sold).  Enterprise number 22 made in Philadelphia, PA.  Both are in "like new" condition.

    Sausage Stuffers - $20 each   

Item number 08004 (Left).  There is no name or model number on this sausage stuffer.  It appears to be a reproduction, but could just be refurbished.  Item number 08005 (Right).  There is no name or model number on this sausage stuffer.  It is a genuine, old stuffer.

    Kraut Cutters - $20 each   

Item number 08006 (Top) and 08007 (Bottom) are very nice kraut cutters.  They are both in very good condition and appear to be the genuine article.  Neither has a brand on it.

    Spice Jars - $5 each   

Items 08011a, 08011b, 08011c and 08011d.  These four spice jars are identical except that one lid is a little darker in color than the others.  They all have ribs in the glass, a place to put a label and tops that open and close.

    Spice Jars - $5 each   

Items 08012 a and 08012b.  These spice jars are just like the ones immediately above except they have sold lids instead of ones that open and close.  They have ribs in the glass and a place to put a label.

    Spice Jars - $5 each   

Items 08013a, 08013b and 08013c.  These spice jars all have solid lids, but the ribs on the sides are different than those in the two items above.  Items a and b have a place to put a label, but they have ribs that are different than those above and from each other.  Item 08013c has no place for a label, but the ribs are the same as items 08011 and 08012.

    Tea Canister - $10   

Item number 08014.  This is the old tea canister that used to sit in hoosier cabinets.  It is 4-5/8 inches tall and 3-1/4 inches in diameter.  Unfortunately, it is missing its lid.  That is the reason for the unusually low price.

    Canister with Lid - $15   

Item number 08016.  This is an old canister or cookie jar with its original lid.  It is 6 inches tall and 6 inches in diameter.  In very good condition.

    Canister - $5   

Item number 08015.  This canister (possibly a candy jar) has a new, tightly fitting lid.  The lid is new, but the jar itself might be old.  It is it very good condition and really nice.

    Canning Jars - $5 each   

Item number 08017.  We have 25 of these canning jars with the bail top.  They are all one quart capacity and in very good condition.  These are wonderful for storing items like rice, pasta, nuts in your kitchen.

    Canister - $10   

Item number 08018.  This old canister was made by Dun-Rite Wood Products of New York.  It is 5 inches tall and 3-7/8 inches in diameter.  It is missing its lid but otherwise is in very good condition.

    Sugar Shaker - $5   

Item number 08019.  The top on this item suggests it was used as a sugar shaker; however, the top is new.  I believe the jar itself may be old.  The ridges on the sides match the spice jars shown above.  It is 5-3/4 inches tall and 3-1/8 inches in diameter.

    Marigold Bowl - $15   

Item number 08020.  This is a beautiful piece of depression glass in the marigold color.  It has ridged sides.  The sides are 1-3/4 inches tall and it is 5-3/8 inches in diameter.  It is in very good condition.

    Grape Bowl - $110   

Item number 08022.  This gorgeous marigold colored depression glass bowl is 11-5/8 inches in diameter and 5-1/8 inches tall.  It has a design inside and out of grapes with their leaves.  It is truly beautiful!
